Fire in Elyria

On the evening of February 24th, a fire in downtown Elyria scorched the old Uncle Vic’s/Mardi Gras building on Kerstetter Way. Two Elyria teens have been charged in connection with the fire, more details on that can be seen at chroniclet.com.

Damion Creel To Be New Lorain Football Coach

Pending the results of the Lorain City Schools Board meeting on Monday night, Damion Creel will be the next head coach of the Lorain Titans high school football program! Coach Creel’s experience as a coach goes all the way back to 1998:

Beachwood High School Head Football Coach (2015-2021)

  • Team reached the playoffs in 2019 & 2020 breaking an 11-year drought
  • Led Beachwood to its 1st undefeated season in school history
  • Hosted Beachwood’s 1st home playoff game
  • Guided Beachwood to its 1st playoff win (2) in school history
