Remembering Joe Tait

On Wednesday, legendary broadcaster Joe Tait passed away at the age of 83. Joe served as the voice of the youth and childhood of so many in northeast Ohio, calling games for the Cleveland Indians, Cleveland Cavaliers, and numerous other sports teams over the years.

Joe also called high school sports here on WEOL and was a staple of Lorain County athletics. We thank Joe for his kindness, compassion, and all-around greatness that he shared with so many for so long.

Tim Alcorn joined the WEOL Morning Show to reflect on the life of Joe Tait, take a listen below.
