In honor of our good friend and former colleague Troy DiFranco, this high school basketball season WEOL and the Chronicle Telegram will be supporting the Troy DiFranco Scholarship Fund by donating three dollars for every made 3-pointer in a boys high school regular season basketball game broadcast on WEOL.
At the end of the season, a check will be presented to the Lorain County Boys Basketball Coaches Association. They will then chose three winners of the Troy DiFranco Scholarship, and announce their names at Lorain County Boys’ All-Star game at the end of the year.
The running total will be on display here at WEOL.com and you can keep up with Lorain County boys hoops all season long with the Chronicle Telegram’s outstanding coverage at Chroniclet.com.
The 2019 Winter Forecast Magazine is out.
