Izzy Geraci named 2018 Lorain County Miss Basketball

North Ridgeville High School senior Isabella Geraci is awarded the 2018 Miss Basketball award Sunday evening during the 2018 Lorain County Girls’ All Stars game at Oberlin College.

Just before the Lorain County Girls All-Star Basketball game on Sunday night at Oberlin College, North Ridgeville’s Izzy Geraci was named the 2018 Lorain County Miss Basketball.

With 1,220 career points,  Geraci became the all time leading scorer in North Ridgeville’s history. During the year, the Rangers senior lead her team with 17.1 points, 8.2 rebounds, 3.8 steals and 2.4 assists a game.

Geraci is the first player from North Ridgeville to win the award. She will continue here playing career next season at NCAA Division I Cleveland State.

Second Harvest Food Bank Harvest for Hunger Campaign

The Second Harvest Food Bank of North Central Ohio has kicked-off the 2018 Harvest for Hunger Campaign.

The Campaign is a major food and fund drive that covers 21 counties from North Central to Northeast Ohio. Working with other food banks, corporations, grocery stores and media, Second Harvest Food Bank raises awareness and brings in donations to help those struggling with hunger in the region.

A look at President Trumps State of the Union Address

David and Joel Arredondo are political analyst here at WEOL who sit on opposite sides of the aisle. David is a little more conservative while Joel tends to lean more towards the liberal side.

This morning the brothers joined Bruce and Craig on the Morning show to break down and give their take on President Trumps first State of the Union address.
