Ken Mayland

Lorain County Held their first economic Summit on Tuesday, May 9 at the Lorain County Community College Spitzer Conference Center.

The days Keynote Speaker was Don Marinelli, a retire professor from Carnegie Mellon who played a great role in the city of Pittsburgh’s economic plan. Along with Don, Ken Mayland of ClearView Economics addressed the crowd and took questions from the audience.

2017 Lorain County Mr. Basketball

On Sunday evening the Lorain County High School Coaches Association announced Lorain’s Naz Bohannon as the 2017 Lorain County Mr. Basketball Award winner.

This year Bohannon averaged 17 points, 9.1 rebounds and 4.6 assists in helping lead the Titans to the district championship game. Along with outstanding play on the cort, Bohannon has a tremendous resume in the classroom. He is currently 23rd in a class of 371 with a overall GPA of 3.93.

Currently the Titans senior is weighing his options for college. He has received a number of offers from Division I schools.
