Come join the Sol-a-bration! A Partial Solar Eclipse, where a portion of Sol will be covered by the Moon, will grace the skies of Northeast Ohio on Saturday, October 14th, 2023. The Lorain County Metroparks, the Black River Astronomical Society (B.R.A.S.), and Space Systems Consulting, LLC, are hosting an eclipse celebration at Lakeview Park in Lorain that day from 11am-3pm! Steve Schauer from the B.R.A.S. joined the Morning Show to talk about the event, which will include safe viewing of the eclipse through special telescopes! Plus, Steve shared his excitement for next April’s total solar eclipse that will bring thousands of visitors to Northeast Ohio.

This Sunday in Vermilion, it’s the 51st annual Woollybear Festival!

Vermilion Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Sandra Coe stopped by to talk about this year’s event, the big parade, and all of the fun activities that can be enjoyed this weekend!
