It’s the 48th Annual “Birkie”!

In the dead of a northern Wisconsin winter while most residents move indoors to keep warm, Ben Popp and thousands of others are competing in the world-renowned “Birkie” cross-country ski race hosted by the American Birkebeiner Ski Foundation (ABSF) in Hayward, Wisconsin.

Ben, the ABSF’s Executive Director, joined the guys on the Morning Show to talk about how the ABSF and “Birkie” got started and how outdoor sports can create a huge economic impact on small towns.
