We’re back with the Main Street Beat!

Summer is a great time to be by the water, and no one knows that better than Main Street Vermilion Executive Director and Vermilion native Kate Repola!

Kate is still getting her feet under herself as Executive Director, but what a summer she has lined up! One fun event is the annual Driftwood Art Contest, taking place July 8th at Exchange Park! Kate gave us details on the contest, what makes it so fun, and a new addition this year so that even the little kiddos have something to enjoy!

Strawberries, anyone?

The Elyria Kiwanis are bringing back their annual Strawberry Social!

Ohio District Vice Chair Dennis Lehman joined the show to talk about the Kiwanis and what folks who attend the social can expect, such as a DELICIOUS Strawberry Shortcake Sunday! Cost of admission is just $7 for the social, which takes place June 14th from 4-7:30pm at St. Mary’s Hall on Middle Avenue.

The camp is open to boys and girls ages 8-14 for players of all skill levels!

Cavs Academy Senior Manager Luke Toth joined the guys on the Morning Show to talk about the event and what participants can expect to be doing, such as learning fundamentals and working with expert coaches.
