October means it is officially spooky season! The Lorain Public Library System is getting their spook on with There’s Something Strange in Ohio: Unusual Spooky Tales!

Explore strange and unusual tales from the state of Ohio. What historical facts are too strange to be false, and what is just an urban legend? Beth Collins stopped by to talk about the program, which takes place at the following places and times:

  • 10/17 6:30-7:30pm, Main Library
  • 10/24 6pm, South Lorain Branch


Book Sale!

Calling all bookworms! The Friends of the Elyria Public Library System is having a book sale this weekend!

President Celeste Brlas joined the show to talk about the sale, running this Thursday through Sunday at St. John Lutheran Church on West River Road in Elyria.

Tacos… for a Good Cause! With the Kiwanis Club of Lorain

Join the Lorain Kiwanis Club next week for a taco bar at their Fall Fiesta Dinner.

Proceeds will benefit the Lorain Kiwanis Scholarship Fund, Lorain High School Key Club, K-Kids, and the many focused projects supported by the Lorain Kiwanis Club.

Spokesman Ron Mager stopped by to talk about the event, which takes place Saturday, October 15th, at the Spectrum Vocation Center.
