The Avon high school wrestling program now has a new head coach! Mark Jayne takes over for Jeremy Johnson who left for Aurora earlier this year. Jayne is the son of former Elyria wrestling coach Frank Jayne, and was a three-time state champion wrestler at St. Edward in the late 90’s and early 2000’s. Jayne has had previous coaching stops at Gates Mills Hawken and St. Edward as well as multiple high schools in Illinois.

Shrek the Musical is coming to the Lorain Community Music Theater from July 15th-24th! Live in studio joining the guys was Craig Koehler, the producer of the musical, as well as Alex Craig who will be playing the role of the big green ogre, Shrek, himself!
