On Tuesday night, Elyria Mayor Holly Brinda was elected to a second term. Today we spoke the Mayor Brinda about the election and her plans for the future of the city.

On Sunday Nov. 8 Amherst will hold their annual Emily’s Hopeful Holiday. Proceeds from the event will go to help family’s whose children are fighting cancer. Laura Zichi, one of the events founders, came by the show today to tell us about what you can expect to see when you make your way to Amherst this Sunday.

As the days grow shorter many people find it harder to stay active. While it may be enticing to simply pull a blanket over yourself and watch TV, Lorain County General Health District’s Cindy Modie and Katie Bevan have a few tips, ideas and programs that will help you stay healthy and active in the cold months ahead.

The Holiday’s are coming, and that means a lot of travel for some people. Today we spoke with Ted Allen, host of Food Network’s Chopped, about some travel tips that will help you lighten that suitcase.
