It is one of the oldest annual canoe and kayak races in the United States. On Sunday, April 3 boaters of all ages and expertise will work their way from the Schoepfle Gardens in Birmingham to Mill Hollow in Vermilion in the 48th Annual Vermilion River Canoe and Kayak Race.
