Damion Creel To Be New Lorain Football Coach

Pending the results of the Lorain City Schools Board meeting on Monday night, Damion Creel will be the next head coach of the Lorain Titans high school football program! Coach Creel’s experience as a coach goes all the way back to 1998:

Beachwood High School Head Football Coach (2015-2021)

  • Team reached the playoffs in 2019 & 2020 breaking an 11-year drought
  • Led Beachwood to its 1st undefeated season in school history
  • Hosted Beachwood’s 1st home playoff game
  • Guided Beachwood to its 1st playoff win (2) in school history

Glenville High School Assistant Coach (2010-2015)

    Offensive Coordinator- 2013-2015

  • 2013 State Runner-Up
  • Back to Back 1,000 yard rushers
  • Running Back broke single season rushing record

    Defensive Coordinator- 2011-2013

    Special Teams Coordinator, QB & DB Coach (2010-2011)

Saint Edward High School Varsity Quarterback Coach (2009-2010)

Richmond Hts High School Defensive Coordinator & Quarterback Coach (2007-2009)

  • 2007 Chagrin Valley Conference Co-Champions (1st league title in 24 years)

Cleveland Hts. High School Assistant Coach (2003-2006)

Bedford High School Defensive Coordinator & Quarterback Coach (2001-2003)

  • 2001 Season 1st Football Playoff Berth in School history

Marion-Franklin High School Offensive Coordinator (1998-2001)
