Northeast Ohio Flag Football

Who says we have to wait until August for some varsity football in Northeast Ohio? Matt Wilson, the head coach of Elyria’s football team, is pulling double duty this spring. He’ll also serve as the head coach for the Elyria Girls’ Flag Football team, part of Northeast Ohio Flag Football. In partnership with the Cleveland Browns and the NFL, girls’ flag football continues to grow at a rapid rate not only in Northeast Ohio, but across the country as well.

Our Rocco Nuosci sat down with Coach Wilson to talk about the league, his team, and where he sees this all going in the next couple of years. Take a listen to the interview below!
