On Monday, August 15th the High School Football Coaches from Lorain County met at Wolfey’s Bistro and Pub in Elyria. While they were there, they sat down with Tim Alcorn and Rob Polinsky to talk about the season ahead. To hear what each coach had to say about his team click on the image above.

Football season is nearly upon us which means it is time for the United Way of Greater Lorain County Kickoff Campaign! On Friday, August 19th from 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. The United Way and WEOL will be at Mike Bass Ford in Sheffield Village.

The community is invited to this free event that will feature food, prizes, and plenty of activities for everyone. Before you come out to the event, tune into AM930 to hear live updates and interviews with Bruce and Craig.

Also, don’t forget to bring school supplies for the “Fill the Bus” drive! Fill the Bus will consist of collecting and sorting school supplies in order to send Lorain County children back to school prepared to learn.
