2019 Spotlight on Vermilion

On Wednesday, May 29th WEOL took our show on the road to shine the Spotlight on Vermilion!

During the Morning Show  Bruce and Crag spoke with Vermilion Mayor Jim Forthofer about new business in the city and the summer ahead, Ritter Public Library’s Patty Kishman about how the establishment has become much more then books, and members of the Second Harvest Food Bank of North Central Ohio about their role in the community.

In the Afternoon, Bull’s Eye on the Afternoon spoke with members of Main Street Vermilion and The Chamber of Commerce about upcoming events in the city and Vermilion High School Baseball Coach Jeff Keck about the Sailors trip to the Regional Tournament. Also, friend of the Show Jim Vandemark from Vandemark Jewelers stopped by for a chat about jewelry and food.
