Former Keystone Coach Clarico Named New AD at Black River
There’s a new sheriff in town for athletics at Black River. This week, the Black River School Board announced the hiring of Rob Clarico as the high school’s new Athletic Director. Clarico most recently served as an assistant principal in the Firelands School District, but is known for being head coach of the Keystone football team from 2004-2016. He takes over for Ted Gordon who steps down after 45 years in education.
“He’s a first-class individual,” Gordon told the Chronicle-Telegram. “I got to know him and his family really well. We have a lot of the same values and outlooks on things.”
