Angela Santomero, cocreator of the shows Blue’s Clues and Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood, has written a new book, “Preschool Clues: Raising Smart, Inspired and Engaged Kids in a Screen-Filled World”, explaining what type of show young kids should be watching. 8:43

8:10am – On Saturday, April 14, the Lorain Public Library System and the City of Avon will host the Inaugural Story Time at Avon’s Every Child’s Playground. the Inaugural event will feature a story read aloud to the children by Avon Mayor Bryan Jensen. Ageism is one of the last accepted forms of bias in the work place, but it has been proven wrong time and again, with many examples of people forced to retire at 65 who are actually at the top of their game.

On the WEOL Morning Show, Alan Weiss, Author of the new book, “Three Score and More” joined Craig and Bruce to talk about the importance of having older men and women in the workforce.

April is National Community College month, and to celebrate, Bull’s Eye on the Afternoon is taking the show on the road to Lorain County Community College on Monday, April 9 from 3pm – 6pm.

Join us as we explore Lorain County Community College with the Professors, administration and faculty who have helped make LCCC the great institution it is today.

During the show, Bull and Matt will be joined by Professor Regan Silvestri who has been wowing kids with his one-man “Magical Science” show; Chef and Director of the Culinary Arts Institute at LCCC Adam Schmith who oversees the student-run restaurant Sage & Seed;  VP of Strategic and Institutional Development, Tracy Green who overlooks the Community Strategic Engagement and many more guests.
